Casino Fun Nights

Fun Casinos can be a fantastic way to raise money for your registered charity or sports organization. Below, we’ve provided some helpful information to guide you in planning your event. Unlike other companies that require you to call or email for details (and then bombard you with sales pitches), we freely share this information.

Fundraising and Charity Events

Wild Diamonds Fun Casino charges a set fee to provide casino entertainment at your event. Your guests purchase tickets to cover the event costs, which include some ‘fun money’ for each guest to cash in at the tables for casino chips. We typically recommend providing $500 in fun money per guest. Once guests have spent their free chips, they can purchase more from your staff members for a donation. We supply customized ‘fun money’ for this purpose.

We offer discounted rates for fundraising and charity events from January to October. To qualify for these rates, your event must feature a minimum of three tables, and we ask to be recognized as major sponsors in your advertising materials. If you prefer not to promote our business, our regular rates will apply.

Fundraising Ideas

Local businesses often sponsor charity evenings by covering the cost of a casino table. In return, you can promote their company with signage on the table or within the room, or include their names on event tickets, fun money, and other brochures. Be sure to acknowledge them in your thank-you speech at the end of your event. We also request to be included as a sponsor in your promotions.

Our croupiers will encourage players to rebuy chips once they’ve spent their initial amount. Set a price for guests to purchase additional fun money, with a discount for buying in multiples. Typically, this should be about 1/4 to 1/3 of the ticket price.

Do I need a licence to hold a fun casino?

No licence is required for a fun casino, but there are some very strict rules that are stated by the Queensland Gaming Commission. Please dont ask us to break any of these rules. The penalties can be very high for both the event organiser (us) and the venue.
